  1. PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF FOR RANGERS - Despite a well deserved and long awaited return to the winners circle there were no yelps, no hollers and no hugs and kisses at the end of a hard game against Uni at Memorial Park.  It may have been the the simple relief of knowing that all their persistent effort over recent weeks had finally paid off or that they had expended every last drop of energy in defending their one goal lead for the last 34 minutes of the game, but for Corrimal first grade this game is sure to stand as one of their best victories this season, particularly after the 0-7 trouncing they received from Uni in round 5.  It was a landmark victory because it broke the 'one-win-a-season' tag that has dogged the Rangers for several years and hopefully it will also mark the start of a renaissance for Corrimal RFC.

  2. D-RANGERS BEAT WOONONA FC IN TRIVIA CHALLENGE - they say "when you're hot, you're hot", and that was the case for Corrimal on Saturday evening when they clocked up their second victory for the day by fielding the winning team (D-Rangers) at the Woonona FC ANNUAL TRIVIA NIGHT.  A fantastic night of entertaining trivia was provided by MC extraordinaire and trivia buff, Johnny Banks and the Woonona Committee.  Well done guys, and so the gauntlet is now down to give you the chance to  break even at our Trivia Night next season!

  3. MONTHLY CLUB MEETING MOVED TO 8.00 p.m. - from August 2nd all Club meetings will be held at Bulli Workers Club on the first Monday of each month, commencing at 8 p.m. to allow greater flexibility for those working late and travelling from further a field.

  4. FUNDRAISING RAFFLES AT THE WORKERS - the Committee is encouraging all players to get behind the fundraising raffles to be held at Bulli Workers Club in August and November.  All three teams will given two of the nights to show how serious they are about getting a new strip for 2011, by attending on these nights, helping sell raffle tickets and generally being seen to support the Club. Players who show their support for this fundraising initiative will also be given priority in choosing their shirt number in 2011.
