Darryl Glover Vacant Ellis Cassanego

     

CLUB COACH

Corrimal Rangers Football Club is happy to announce that Mr. Darryl Glover will remain as Club Coach for the 2009 season.  Darryl has a distinguished football career as both a player and a coach.  He started playing with Corrimal Juniors when he was just eight years old and played his first senior game with Corrimal Rangers.  He went on to represent Illawarra before playing in the New South Wales Football Association State League with South Coast United.  On returning to the Illawarra he played with Bulli then later became player/coach at Fernhill.  He coached at Cringila and then Wollongong City Youth for 4yrs in the old National League.  He then went to Sydney for 7 years where he coached the Mount Pritchard State League First Division team. On returning to the Illawarra he also coached at Warilla and Albion Park.

Club Training nights - are Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6:30PM.  Training for the 2009 season will begin on Tuesday, 13th January at Memorial Park at 6.30pm.

Wet Weather game cancellations will be notified on local radio by the IFA.  If Wollongong Council grounds are closed then other grounds (like Memorial Park) will be inspected by ground officials and team coaches/managers will be notified of their decision by 9:00am. If you have not heard anything by 9:30am, then assume all games will be on as usual or ring your coach to be sure.
